But man, every time you "like" a comment of mine and every time we get into a discussion, my heart soars. Because a) you're engaging with me and b) you obviously don't see me as the idiot that I think I am.

Don't let your lack of self-esteem lock you out of the possibility of something good happening. Don't waste your time building up this whole thing inside your head and then look back in regret because nothing ever happened. Just freakin' tell him.
