(Anonymous) 2012-12-19 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)Yeah, I find this really interesting too - it's especially interesting because in GRRM's books the aimless wandering is still happening and there is no end in sight! I'm so disappointed that Tolkien finished the aimless wandering of his characters (who even reach their destination) if you can write more books like GRRM with so much more aimless wandering!
