4. This makes me happy, for some reason. :) I didn't like tha fillers much, but still have a soft spot for filler!Tenten.

7. I really tried getting into this since everyon eI know loves it, but...:/ No. The layouts are too messy and the characters felt so flat. Maybe it gets better in later volumes, but it wasn't something for me. I wouldn't have liked it better if it was het, though I'll admit to read it if it was yuri. .__.

21. Omg yes. *_* So in love with those books.

7. Uhuhu, there actually is an arc with a girl couple for, like, a volume.

...Really? Shit, you just made me consider making another try at it. rofl so easy to convert.

How far into the story do they appear?

[identity profile] moebot.livejournal.com 2007-08-23 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Tail-end of volume 3 until the end of volume 4. The anime is pretty bad, but they're in that from episodes 8 to 10, too. This is my awesome lesbian bias speaking, but it's one of the better written/paced arcs in the whole mess. I don't know if they're worth reading the whole thing for, but it's worth reading the one arc for.

I'll borrow those volumes and have a look then. Don't know if it will sell me on the whole series, but any well-written yuri pairing is a treat. ...Even the badly written ones, in fact. :+

*raises hand* I'm not that much into yuri OR Loveless, but I thought that was a great arc...expecially the end. I cheered.

Well, I'm convinced then. I'll be the laughingstock of my group of friends for suddenly changing my mind, but that's alright. :O

7. Watching the anime first really helps, because it's smoother and easier to understand. And since it's only twelve episodes for an unfinished manga, I think that they not only do well, they do it better than the manga in some aspects.

[identity profile] hello-scorpling.livejournal.com 2007-08-23 08:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? A lot of people seem to be putting the anime down. I could give it a try, even if I generally prefer manga to anime. Do you know why it's less popular? Like...did they change much from the manga version?

[identity profile] a-white-rain.livejournal.com 2007-08-23 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Well the anime ending sorta goes against the gain of the manga canon. But the thing is? Manga wasn't done and hadn't even really gotten to the point

Slight bitterness over here too, but it's been very clear that she's a minor character from the start, so I find it hard to really blame him for not developing her. If she ever go backstory and a bigger role no one would cheer louder than me, but that's likely never going to happen. :/
