Listen to your head, it is stupid to let fear ruin the fun of now. Try and just enjoy the pairing, because it's a surprisingly sweet and awesome and in-character pairing and it has surprised the hell out of me how much I do like them.

I still like Hardison/Parker. To me, they actually seem like an IRL couple, unlike other couples where the writers/fandom feel they need awful dialogue, dramatic gestures, big, "epic" (ugh, I hate how this word is currently used) moments, and so on. I hope they stay the way they are (if the show is renewed for another season).

The Hardison/Parker stuff is surprisingly well written imo, so while it's sweet, I just can't get into it. I think it's because I can't see Parker as a sexual or romantic person, Hardison or not. I like that they're relationship is pretty lax and comfortable so it seems realistic for their characters, but...idk, I can't get excited about it.

I love both couples in this show to bits. Like, at first I didn't like the idea of Parker/Hardison, but they did it so well that my only problem now is knowing whether I'm more attached to them or to Nate/Sophie. (I think Nate and Sophie are winning at the moment, because it's Nate and Sophie and they're too beautiful for words, but it's a close call.)

In response to your secret, the season 5 finale might be the final episode ever, so there might not be much of a chance for canon to ruin your ship anymore? But that's not a good thing :( Omg OP, you're giving me stream of consciousness feels about this show. Argh. All I want in the end is for Nate and Sophie to retire to a mansion on a tropical island somewhere and maybe have a baby, while they overlook and occasionally advise (and sometimes pretend to each other they're not advising, and sometimes both outright helping) Hardison, Parker and Elliot continue to Leverage jobs with Hardison as the new Nate. Where is this teeth-rottingly sweet head canon coming from wth self. <3 Leverage.

They really fell like they're winding to a close this season, and while I'd rather a show go out while I still love it than continue and turn into a horrible mess... wehhh, I love Leverage so much! The cons, the group dynamics, the Doctor Who references!

Also, I have this weird feeling Nate wants Parker to be the new him. Hardison has talked about wanting to do it, but there was that whole "sometimes you need to do shitty things to your team in order to get the job done" thing with the violin. I feel like I remember a lot of little things with Nate seeming to be teaching Parker the ropes.

He's done some of that with Elliot this season, too. I'd honestly love it if the show were pared down to the trio, and I can see them sharing the mastermind role rather than having a new official leader.

I love this idea. Sophie and Nate are awesome (well, sometimes I'd like to beat Nate over the head, but for the most part I like him), but I love the Parker/Hardison/Elliot dynamic. I don't really ship it (though I do enjoy fic occasionally), but I love the interaction between them.

All five actors have great chemistry with each other, but Aldis, Christian and Beth especially have a certain spark.

i love parker/hardison, but i ship parker/eliot in fandom. i think it's because most of my ships are femslash, and so i'm used to my favorite pairing being non-canon. if it's there in canon, that's fine and all, but i want subtext, you know. just getting what i want to see? whatever. where's the imagination in that. ;)

I love them. Personally I ship Parker/Hardison/Eliot because I love all three of them together in the various combinations of two, so I just want them in a giant cuddlepile of awesome.

Haven't seen the fifth season yet, but it's delightful to know they haven't managed to somehow fuck those two up. Might be the only couple I've ever seen whose blossoming relationship didn't turn into a whiny, melodramatic mess over the course of a season, let alone several. They make me believe in fictional relationships again.
