She stole huge chunks of other people's writing and did not cite it in her Harry Potter FF. This FF got her published (Basically she rubbed off the numbers and changed the names of her FF characters/characterizations) She also claimed that she needed money for a "charity", milked her fans for a ton of money, and then used the money to buy herself a new laptop :P

na Good luck getting a response - I've seen this exact claim come up before in discussions about Cassandra Claire, but the anon making it tends to disappear when someone else shows up with a link to the actual events. I'm still waiting on receipts for when I asked about this a few weeks back.
