A combination of tampons and pads. I used to use pads pretty much exclusively. When I was a teenager, I had a bad experience once that I attributed to using a tampon (I got really lightheaded and sick-feeling, and started feeling better as soon as I took the tampon out), and that put me off tampons for a while. But lately, I'll use tampons during the day most of the time. I use pads at night, and on days when I worry about having bathroom access in case of a leak.

I've thought about cups, but haven't tried them.
