Re: Ungrateful at Christmas?

I'm pretty sure I've already told the story of how Grandma would insists on getting Christmas list from every one every year, and then never get anything that was on anyone's list for them. Every year I'd also get a set of red and pink lip sticks despite her knowing I don't wear makeup, and dress shoes I never had any use for.

It got slightly better as she got older and other people took over shopping for her, but one Christmas shortly before she got really sick my list was mostly a very long list of video games most of which should have been easy to find in any used game store or Wal-mart. My aunts were in charge of Grandma's shopping that year, and claiming they couldn't find anything on the list, ended up getting me The Wheel of Fortune for the Wii. I never play the Wii,(I left it with my parents when I moved out) I hate The Wheel of Fortune, and game shows in general. So, yeah I was not exactly feeling the love with that one, especially knowing they never bothered trying to talk to anyone who would know well enough to find something I actually would like.
