Haven't seen the show (just like reading the comments to everything), so I can't really speak to the secret. But, this: "Besides, can we have one show, one show where romance isn't a main plot point? I like the fact that Reese and Finch had a romantic lives once upon a time but they can't have that any more so they throw themselves into their work."

I agree so completely - there are so many motivators other than love & attraction, and I appreciate it when a show doesn't go down that route. I guess this show would be classified as "gen" to most of fandom.
