What's Assassin's Creed gameplay like?

And yes, OP, don't let one game discourage you. I suck at some kinds of games but do great in others. Plus, practice will help you.

Running around on top of buildings in an accurate reconstruction of renaissance Italy/The Holy Land/Constantinople/Colonial America while you either stealth past the guards or kill everybody. In the first game you do side missions in order to work up to assassinating the next BIG TARGET but it later games you could either play a story mission (which might include the BIG TARGET) or play optional side missions.
Fighting mechanics are sort of confusing at first but running around is one of the most rewarding parts of any video game I have ever played.
In short IT'S GREAT PLAY IT
Also yeah it's hard to get the hang of, but the game gives you a while to warm up to the controls before really throwing you to the dogs.
