Well, no. Criticising a television show is not the same as criticising a person for watching a television show. There is a massive difference between "This is a bad show" and "You are a bad person for watching this show". I don't agree with nonny's interpretation of the episode - I thought the narrative made it quite clear that Sheldon was being a creep - but they are entitled to criticise the show as much as they damn well want.

Exactly. I don't watch the show, but I think it's silly and childish to go around insulting people who do.

If you like the show, fine, more power to you; you hate the show, fine, more power to you. But to have people being nasty and going after each other because of a goofy sitcom is just ridiculous.
