Well, she treats Bella like a doll and not a person, and is pretty horrible towards Jacob when they first meet (if not downright racist), and takes a car as payment to kidnap Bella and prevent her from hanging out with Jacob in Eclipse.

I mean, I still like her, but I try to ignore the few issues like that. With Edward and other characters, you can't ignore the flaws because they're entirely made of flaws. Alice is amusing and has an interesting backstory and is a female character with a brain. Hence, people tend to like her in a sea of stupidity.
