Usually I spend around $20 or so, though I recently spent more on one for my sister's mother-in-law (whom I'm also close to) because 1) it was something she really wanted [she put "Love, love, love this" by it on her wish list] and 2) we go over to her house for most family gatherings and sometimes just for game nights and stuff. Given the time, money, and general resources she's expended over the years so we can have fun and family time together, I think she MORE than deserves having a some extra money spent on her.
