They are super adorable! One of my neighbors had to watch some bats while his prof was out of town awhile back and I got to hold/help feed them. That being said, I wouldn't approach any wild bats, since that's kind of idiotic. I used to love sitting outside at night and watching them go after bugs when I was little, though.
