I don't know, isn't this something easily solved by following tumblrs that like the pairings/women you like? And Tumblr Savioring out the stuff you don't? I, for instance, like Princess Aurora from OuaT. So when I do a search, I always tag out "borealis", because that shit gets old.

Heh!

(And I agree. Maybe you just haven't found the right tumblrs yet? Do a search for your favorite characters, then follow people who like and reblog them too.)

That also depends on how many female characters are in your fandom. For example, Rise of the Guardians? There really is only one major female in that movie*.

*I'm just assuming the OP is talking about the movie from their secret - I could be wrong.

That is true! In shows like OUAT there are tons of female characters so you'll see that reflected in fandom, but there are plenty of other works where there aren't many in the source material, and those fandoms will reflect that too.

I agree with most of this, but have to point out that tumblr savioring things isn't a practical solution because tumblr savior fails at least once a day by either filtering out something it shouldn't or not filtering something out that it should. And that's just on posts that actually have coherent and relevant tags. If you're in a fandom on tumblr, chances are very high that there will be a lot of posts without tags or that only have useless/irrelevant tags.
