Different person, but Funyarinpa is indeed a 999 joke! I could try to dig up the scene for you, but it would probably be funnier if you played through it yourself, haha. (And I highly recommend tracking it down! I got ridiculously lucky and found a used copy in my local Gamestop a few weeks back, and it was such a good buy.)

Speak of the devil - I was out near a Gamestop today, and this thread from last night had reminded me about my quest for 999, so I stopped in, and one of the employees was all "Dude, wow, I've only ever seen that game in a store once myself... but let me have a look in the computer just in case."

...I think you can guess the rest. I was pretty much obligated to buy it, since NO ONE I KNOW HAS EVER SEEN IT IN A STORE EVER.
