Nitpicky things in movies/TV shows that drive you crazy?

For me it would have to be movies set in a post-apocalyptic/disaster setting where they've been there for some time and everyone is clean shaven. Especially if the women are dressed in tank tops and their armpits are shaved.

Disappearing water/dirt/dust on clothes. If someone just did a third-base slide into a mud puddle in the last scene, their jeans should not be dry and spotless in the next one unless they would reasonably have had a chance to change clothes. I realize that they don't want the actor wandering around in wet jeans for twenty takes or whatever, but surely wardrobe can brush on some schmutz to make it clear that they're not magic self-cleaning pants, right?

Seconding what Omorka said. Oh, yes. This is essentially why I hate Transformers 3 so much! All the guys are sweaty and bloody but the female lead, clean as a whistle! And she was wearing a white shirt! How in the world did she manged to stay clean with all the robots battling around!?

When someone's been running or fighting or rolling around and doing stuff that would normally get their hair all mussed up, but it's perfectly coiffed and in place in the next shot.

I know it's usually because the continuity work for the crew's hair stylist would be really troublesome to pull off in some scenes, but it really. bugs. me.

I will always and without fail nitpick anything related to swimming as a sport. (To be fair, I also praise things done right, too, because it's so fucking rare.)

Inexplicable cleanliness is pretty bothersome, too. Or inexplicably pearly white teeth. On like...homeless people or whatever. HOW HARD IS IT TO DRINK SOME COFFEE BEFORE A TAKE?! A LITTLE YELLOW WOULD BE LESS JARRING THAN YOUR BLINDINGLY WHITE SMILE.

I'm also bothered by sexist tropes, like the standard female grab area, or there's like HUGE ALL OUT BRAWL and the dudes are getting punched left and right but you only ever see the ladies thrown back? It's weird and stupid :/

...there are a few other things, I know. I can get really nitpicky about shit, especially if I'm not that into whatever I'm watching.

Your "teeth" comment made me laugh because that's like... the one genuine fail of Breaking Bad, is that the dude in my icons is a meth addict with absolutely perfect, wonderful teeth. Also that time he relapsed for three months and still had his chubby post-meth face at the end of it, although I think that was less production fail and more "Aaron Paul ate too much pizza."

Ugh, the hair really bugs me too. Especially if they actually do bother to give the guys scraggly beards to seem "realistic" and yet all of the women have shaved pits and arms. (And probably also manicures and makeup and blown-out hair. Fuuuuucccck.)

Also, medieval shit where everyone has perfect teeth.
