C'mon, you're being creepy as fuck here. People are people and don't exist just for you - regardless of whether it's a celebrity, woman walking down the road, co-worker, etc.

agreed , OP's "logic" sounds eerily similar to "she was wearing a short skirt , clearly she was asking for it"

It's the same entitlement complex towards another human being, only its justified by celebrity culture, as opposed to sexism.

I think this is different - OP is not forcing any kind of sexual contact (or even *having* any sexual contact at all) on anyone. If she met the guy and expected him to recreate fanservice scenes and have sex with her, yeah, we'd have a serious problem. But I don't think writing things about this person is anywhere near that level, unless she's trying to get him to read it or something. I think it's different with certain celebrities than with a random person, too. "S/he was asking for it" is fucked up, but if someone has made it clear that they are okay with people they don't know thinking about them in a sexual way, why is it wrong to think that way?

Oh, and I'm a woman who's been raped, so, I think I have some perspective on the concept.

AYRT

I hope I don't come off offensive. If I do I apologize sincerely.

I see your point. But at the same time I feel like "thinking" of someone in a sexual way is kinda different than writing porn about them and posting it on the internet. Because people can think about someone and keep it private, but writing fic about a person seems...i dunno invasive. I mean I could see a celebrity doing sexual things just to appeal to fans, or play a role in a music vid. If I were a celebrity who say wore a miniskirt or made a sultry music video, I'd still be creeped out by people writing porn about me having sex with someone I shook hands with on the red carpet, or even played in a band with. I don't think that playing a sexy "act" in some song means writing explicit porn about a real person. There are different ways of looking at it. For all I know the actor could be totally okay with sexy RP Fic. But just, playing the "sexy" act isn't necessarily the same as telling people, 'I'm okay with porn about me being written by totally strangers." Celebrities act 'sexy', play sexy roles, or sing sexy songs all the time,

Just my opinion though. *shrug*

I think the issue here is not the action, but the sense of entitlement the OP feels. They think that just because the guy is a celebrity, might do fanservice(I don't know who it is, so IDK).
A lot of people write fanfics, read fanfic etc. There's nothing wrong with it.
But when you say the celeb is knowingly inciting porn to be written about him, for his personal life to be sexualized and how there is nothing wrong with that, it shows a huge amount of entitlement and lack of respect for them as a person.
