He is, by far, my favorite person to follow on twitter. And I love him even more when I found out why he wasn't continuing on Travel Channel anymore.

I'm also from Cajun country in Louisiana, and he's been here a few times and always says how much he loves it here, so he gets major points for that!

why isn't he continuing on Travel Channel. NGL, I almost cried a little when I heard there wouldn't be any more No Reservations.

TC has been editing the show to make it look as if Anthony was doing product placements in his shows. He said he did it once before, with a credit card, but his fans told him they didn't like it, so he wanted to make it stop. He even had it written in his contract that he will not do product placements in his shows. So...while the editing of the show makes it LOOK like Tony's driving a certain car, he's not. And despite different talks with the head guys at TC, no compromise was made (it's also why there were so many damn clip shows in the final season). Bordain's other show on TC will also be ending this season, though Travel Channel has yet to say anything like that on their ads for it.

HOWEVER! There will be a NEW show, very similar in set-up to No Reservations, on a different channel. I want to say it will be on CNN and will be called "Parts Unknown"
