Some context would be very helpful here. Obviously it's something specific that's upset you here and given some of the attitudes in this fandom (if not this pairing specifically, though I don't read a whole lot of Steve/Tony so... I could be wrong) it really doesn't surprise me. Marvel 616 fandom and movieverse fandom are very fond of Any Two White Guys and seem very unaware of anything beyond that.

As to calling them out... do it. Really. Nobody's going to stop doing this shit if nobody says anything.
