Doctor Octopus, who's been dying for the past year, managed to switch bodies with Spider-Man. Spider-Man died in Doctor Octopus's body and now Doc Ock is the new Spider-Man.

This being the comic industry, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets revived after three days and becomes Spider Jesus or something. On the other hand, my heart aches because I used to like Spidey, back in the days.

I don't acknowledge One More Day though. It's the moment Spider-man officially jumped the shark for me, and that says a lot when it comes to comics.

He's my favorite male superhero but I haven't been able to touch anything but team titles that happen to have him in it since then. Just so much rage.

I hate to break it to you, but Spider-Man is probably the most generic superhero of all time. He is so very lame and brings nothing new to the table, I'm glad he's dead and hope that he stays that way, he deserved much worse and I wish I were Superman, so that I could fly around the world and reverse time to a point where I could completely erase Spidey altogether.

You know, I try really hard to not be the kind of comic fan who hates every new idea just because, to be open-minded, but sometimes is pretty damn hard.
Sometimes it's so hard I'm not even angry nor disappointed, I just look at the comic and shake my head with a low sigh and then move onto indifference. Like in this case.
