I'm sorry I shat up your thread. That was supposed to be a one-off grouchy comment and it ended up dominating the discussion. I stand by the points I made but that was not the place to make them. It was fricking stupid.

I hope you're getting through this difficult time with a lot of comfort. Losing a pet is hard, but I'm sure yours knows it's loved.

Thank you for apologising. I'm not angry with you. To be perfectly frank I appreciate that this is a topic worthy of discussion, but as you say in a different place.

I wasn't upset by your comment itself, but it did keep me from replying to others' messages. I didn't then, and don't now, feel like getting into a debate about this.
