Dany's relationship with her husband often falls under the category of "doesn't want to and definitely would say know if it was an option" so that's pretty rapey, and it's implied that Cersei's relationship with her husband has been like this. Oh, and Mirri Maz Duur.

I don't watch the series because of this type of thing, but don't you think it's pretty realistic? Women historically didn't have a lot of say in who they'd be married to in these types of societies.

That's exactly the point. It's a realistic medieval world. There's lots of interesting and well-developed female characters, each with their own flaws and strengths, but the story is also showing that chivalry and those old-fashioned views had a serious darkside, especially when it came to women. Most the women aren't happy in their arranged marriages, and resent being sold off like party favors to solidify an alliance, and (spoiler) tend to kill their husbands because of it.
