(Anonymous) 2012-12-29 01:35 am (UTC)(link)Sherlock is, like, the worst possible fandom to use as an example here, John keeping his [illegal] gun is usually portrayed in the fandom as evidence that he still has psychological problems, not evidence that good guys should have guns.
There are plenty of fandoms that would be much much better examples.
