Y'know, the sad thing is that this might not be a bad casting

BUT I wouldn't want it just because of the whole Arthur/Eames deal (totally ruined Batman fandom)

I can't say anything for the Batman fandom. I hate DC comics. But I loved The Dark Knight Rises. And not only is it barely active (certainly not enough to ruin the Batman fandom) but most of the Bane (and Bane/Blake) stories I have read have been delightfully good and in character.
