Thank you. I've had the bisexual rant at people enough time that it's getting frustrating. IRL people understand "bisexual" as meaning "attraction regardless of gender", basically all the bits of the spectrum between strictly homosexual and striclty heterosexual. That's how we were raised, that's what the sex ed classes and the literature have been saying long before someone coined the term "pansexual".

Yeah this - for decades now, 'bisexual' has been the neutral term used in research and discussion about our community. It's the word that makes us a (dubiously welcomed) part of LGBT. Queer identifies have always drifted in and out of use but seeing a very common and normal one which I happen to use redefined by noobs who don't like it is pretty hurtful :/

I remember "Trisexual" back in the '80s - "I'm Trisexual... I'll try anything sexual!".

Yeah.
