We're probably on F!S for the same reasons, but I wish you wouldn't work so hard to ruin some users' browsing. You sound like such a bitter and unhappy woman, and sometimes I genuinely worry if a doctoral program wasn't the right choice for you. If you need to vent like this, it's probably a sign that you need a little longer to mature before you continue with your graduate education.

Lol whut. Just because someone has a different sense of humor than you doesn't mean they're bitter and unhappy. And even if she is "venting" you have no idea if it has anything to do with her career choices and does not mean she's not cut out for it. Condescend more.

You aren't doing a good job. That "I'm not a bad person" wasn't bad but it dangles. You should have worked in something like a car accident to put her life in perspective.

idg the hate-on for chard. perhaps some peeps haven't picked up on the fact most of the stuff she posts is not inherently malicious.

Unfortunately, it comes off as malicious, especially if she posts a lot of negative comments over the week. It gets to the point where I can't even appreciate her silly cat joke in this thread.

If this is what you consider venting you really need to stay out of grad school, which will give you actual reasons. This is FandomSecrets. It hasn't--at least since before I got here--been terribly serious.
