'The House of The Moon' was pretty decent, on account of taking half a novel to go from 'not going to kill each other' to 'Romance.' But yeah, pretty much there's no canon for it.

Yeah, I was thinking of that fic. I read another of that author's SessKag fics, "Fugue", and while it didn't convert me, it was very well-written. It can definitely be done, you just have to ignore canon.

Glad somebody mentioned this fic. It's always the example that springs to mind, in so far as "getting them together and actually keeping it in character." Not to mention it was just beautifully-written, in general.

I could never get into that fic, not matter how hard I tried. It was much too long, and kinda OOC for me. *shrugs*

To each their own - and yes, it really is a full-length novel. But if you want a halfway believable Sess/Kag, you can hardly do it it less.
