So recently I've been trying my hand at fanvids, which is something I've always wanted to do, and it's been really fun, and it's much easier than I thought it would be and I'm not half bad at it.

HOWEVER.

I am already up to here with windows live movie maker's bullshit. When I play my videos they skip and flash and glitch like no other. It makes me look hideously lazy and is frustrating the hell out of me.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this? It's driving me up the wall.

Question. Have you watched your videos on another computer? Do they still have the same problems?

You might have to start using a different program to make your vids.

It's acting a bit better now, I guess it's just finicky :P The saved files are less glitchy than the wip files so maybe it's just a loading issue? Idk.

Yeah, there are lots of reasons why videos skip and act glitchly during playback. If the videos play better with wmm closed, you might want to try closing as many background programs as possible so there are more resources wmm can use. (Keep your antivirus program on but close things like word programming startup wizards and internet browsers and instant messaging clients.) Hopefully it'll make things smoother.
