I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't enjoy winter break. Yes, it's great to not have classes, and to have proper food instead of the weak imitation found in the dining hall, and access to the TV and video games that won't fit in my dorm room, but I hate being with my family all the time. Isn't five minutes enough? Can I please go home now?

hahahahaha I sort of feel you. I like my family but only in small doses, and when I'm away I miss them.
Summer breaks are the worst, I'm happy I don't have to go to school in the summer but I become bored and when I'm bored I'm completely depressed.

I'm a workaholic who works for a college, so I was forced to take winter break off... I hate it too. Every morning I wake up and want to log into my work account, but I'm not allowed to work until Wednesday. ;_;

I feel you so hard. Seeing family is nice... but my mom has started to nag and whine about how I need to engaaaaaage people. (Read: I should be a social butterfly and spend all my time around other people and talk to them nonstop because apparently that is the only polite thing to do with extended family. Ahahahahahahahaha no.) Three more days of her attempting to turn me into an extrovert is a terrible prospect, even with the rest of my awesome family thrown into the deal.

Hahaha yeah, I'm usually tired of family after a few days. :P And I like being able to sleep in and all, but being without a sort of routine starts to eventually confuse me.

Yeah my family stresses me out more than classes do. The winter break never seems to be long enough.

My situation is a little different--it's more, we live 8 hours away from all our family, must I really give up every vacation from work to spend it traveling to see people who are liable to infuriate me LOL, and my child has never put up a Christmas tree or hung up a stocking in her own house, please can we stay home for Christmas.
