As someone who has, like Chidori, dealt with suicidal depression, self-harm and no small inclination toward self-sabotage, I still really disliked her. There's a lot of potential for an interesting character there, sure, but what's actually in the game is a flat, poorly-defined love interest with bad (English) voice-acting. She's so clumsily implemented in the story that I just found myself rolling my eyes every time I had to sit through another ten-minute cutscene about her and Junpei and their inexplicable true love.
