Maybe it's the difference of 7 years since I wandered out of the LotR fandom but I really appreciate rugged men.

Then again, I did get into the LotR fandom via rugged men - Aragorn/Boromir.

Especially if they have dark hair. Gimme a rugged man (or dwarf) with long messy dark hair and I'm on that shit! (Must be why I love Jared Padalecki so much. I do consider myself a fangirl of his hair.)

I used to have the biggest crush on Jared... You don't want to know how many pictures I have of him on my hard drive from years past. I haven't watched SPN in a while, but his hair was always so glorious.

I don't know for sure but I think it's one of the chapters in Fumbling in the Dark: Love Advice For the Romantically Impaired (http://archiveofourown.org/works/181789/chapters/267378). It's a ficlet series fic that has chapters that are excepts for almost all the episodes from the Pilot right through to the end of season 5.

I'm looking through myself to see if I can find the chapter in question.

(It's a Wincest fic, though it's pre-slash where everyone can see it but the Winchesters themselves.)
