I'm going to go out on a limb and bet it's because it's still aimed at kids a lot.

Also, I find guro in general to be pretty rare (or at least, the stuff I find interesting).

+1 I don't know about less guro, but I would appreciate it if guro fans would at least tag things appropriately, so that people who like it can find it and those who don't can avoid it.

Nonny, that was the most vanilla-innocent fandom I ever dipped my head into. Probably something to do with the high number of 13 year olds, which, you know, that's a good fandom for them to be in. But it did mean that the wank was excruciatingly dramatic, the way only particularly unjaded fans can make it. I simply can't imagine them tolerating the more squicky kinks. They barely tolerated non-canon pairings.

gonna go with "doesn't exist," considering I tried searching for it on gelbooru and got nothing, so I can only assume it's a myth.
