Yeah, I don't know if he ever called himself bisexual. A few years ago, he was pretty cool and nonchalant about having had sex with men (though I think he implied that it was more experimentation). More recently, from at least one interview, he did seem a bit defensive about denying it, to me. But it's kind of hard to tell with Hardy, too. I've seen people get into debates a few times over trying to interpret what he's said in interviews (and not just in regards to sexuality).

He's just another Hollywood actor - it's going to be deny, deny, deny until the heifers come home.

He has mentioned that he expiremented when he was younger. And I could see him getting defensive about it later on. People keep asking you the same question over and over it gets annoying.

Yeah, everything I've seen is him admitting to experimenting and having relationships/sex with men in the past, but otherwise saying he doesn't currently identify as bisexual. I think the defensiveness is because of misinterpretation and people beating a dead horse with that question, but who knows.

It could be, yeah. I can't remember the interview I'm thinking of exactly, but it was hard to tell if he was getting frustrated/defensive because he was tired of reporters asking annoying and intrusive questions or because he wanted to distance himself from his previous comments regarding his relationships with men. The former is definitely a strong possibility, but I'm cynical enough that the latter occurred to me, too.

I think it's one of those things that you just need more context to know for sure, and interviews can be pretty misleading. Everything I've seen with him discussing it has been in print, too, and I seem to remember a kerfluffle about things being misquoted, so hm.

I definitely hope it's the former and not that latter, too.
