Slightly late resolution...

I've decided that this year, I'm going to make new accounts on AO3/LJ/wherever, and post all the porn I've been too shy to share under my main username (where I write fairly popular but very tame fics).

Even the consensual tentacle sex that's been sitting half-finished on my computer since 2010. Especially that.

you might also want to use a different e-mail account for those, and maybe have it forward to your regular account

just in case there are internet detectives floating around in the fandom or something

AO3 doesn't allow multiple accounts on one email since they brought the invites back. If you already had them they allow it but you can't create new ones anymore with the same email address :(

Just make a new email address and have all your emails forwarded to your preferred one. Piece of cake.

Good for you! I just got my invitation to A03 this month. It took some time, but it was worth it. I like the small but growing collection of fic available there.
