for extroverts, it's not tiring. that's how they get their energy: by feeding off the energy of other people. maybe an introvert wouldn't get anything out of it, but for extroverts they get happiness and a sense of belonging. they can also have those kinds of meaningful conversations.

and extroverts often aren't "being with other people for the sake of being with other people". they're usually doing it because they enjoy it.

Yes, but that is what it feels like to be pressured into being an extrovert. That kind of lifestyle is good for extorverts, but sometimes some of them (not saying that all of them are- I have a very good friend who is very extroverted and she completely understands) they need to lay off pressuring intorverts into being like them.

sorry if i misunderstood. i read the second half of your comment as still referring to extroverts. when you asked "what do you get out of it?" i thought you mean what do extroverts get out of it, not introverts.
