I'm confused by people's hateboners for jamjars.

The real problem is that most of them don't have any real plot progression and just involve characters hanging out and dating each other.

seriously, the whole hanging out/dating/daily life stuff is the appeal for me. Cause the canons from which I play tend not to pay much attention to that stuff (and for good reason, nobody wants derail from the whole GOTTA SAVE THE WORLD) which leads to very little development of the type of character (mostly minor ones) I want to play in that aspect.

Srsly, it sucks that maybe you are not finding the rp experience that you want, but considering the fact that put together jamjar rps have a whole load of players, clearly this is not a problem for everybody.
