Question on Warehouse 13

Hey, y'all. Just started watching Warehouse 13 and I was wondering if someone can give me a one sentence yes/no answer: do the writers eventually put Myka and Pete together as a romantic couple?

I ask since I think they've got some really great friendship chemistry, but the idea of them as a romantic couple makes me go "blegh" since that'd just be one more "serious career-oriented woman falls for mildly sexist, easy going man" mark on my tally of M/F friendships tossed on the basis that main characters of the opposite gender can't just be friends. Also I started to try and look it up myself, but I quickly got entrenched in spoilers and had to abort.

No, they don't get paired. Myka describes him as a brother, and he describes her as amazingly beautiful and his best friend. Platonic for the win!
