A little late maybe, but go. I honestly think it would have really helped me had there been a local group I could have gone to for support when I'd just gotten out of the hospital, but still was in the middle of a huge depression.

If nothing else, it doesn't hurt to try and if you decide it's not for you, you have the option to not go.
