If I could have edited it, as I already said previously that I should have clarified my statement, I would have said:

So agree. Partying all the time and being with other people for the sake of being with other people is so empty to me.

The same with being around people all the time because I have been in situations like that- yes being aroud people 24/7, and viewed as wrong for not thriving in that sort of atmosphere. When you are in the military or in certain situations, it's not that unusual.

your icon looks like an old-school Altmer from Morrowind using one of the "better heads" mods. Is that what it is, or is it something different and I am just being strange?

You're not being strange at all :)

That's a better Almalexia mod. which is almost the same thing- Almalexia being Chimer, who were cousins to the Altmer.

As soon as you said it I smacked myself for not recognizing that face tattoo! I also used that mod, so that just makes it even more annoying that I didn't remember. I love Morrowind; definitely in my top 5 games, and I must have wasted entire weeks at a time playing it before I got a computer that could handle Oblivion. (Though even after that, I still played Morrowind more.) I could wax poetic for hours about the great city of Vivec, or the "red-lantern district" in Suran. Enough, though! I must sleep now.

Also did you see the person in General Comments asking about Morrowind mods, btw? I left a long, rambly answer.

Morrowind is about all of my fandom activities now. I love that game so much.

Although I didn't have as much to rec, I left a comment for a good site that is finding and archiving a lot of missing Morrowind mods: Morrowind Modding History.

I've actually been asked by one of my introverted friends, when I said that I get lonely because I don't like to spend long chunks of time alone, "Do you really need people around you like, 24/7??" in a way that was really judgey. It kind of goes both ways.

Anyway, I get that that's not what you meant, but it really wasn't clear at first. Thanks for clarifying.

That's not cool. I would never say that to any of my friends who are outgoing and want to be around some people. I'm sorry you had to listen to that.

I think some people here, myself included are reacting to the more mindless, "let's get drunk because we have nothing better to do" mentality sometimes seen in dorms or the military, and weren't thinking of the outgoing people who do have a good life with company of others and don't judge others. It does go both ways.
