MORROWIND LOOOOOOOVE

Also, absolutely get Better Bodies and Better Heads, as well as Better clothes, all of which adds up to awesome looking characters. Almost all of the really badass looking armors are made for Better Bodies, since it is THE body-mesh replacer for Morrowind. (Oblivion and Skyrim have many, but Morrowind has THE ONE.)
If you like the idea of playing as a vampire, check out Vampire Embrace. It's always installed on my game, since it's just a tiny file, but it adds so much!
Also, http://www.mwmythicmods.com/telesphoros.htm has one of the best semi-comprehensive list of mods ever, sorted by category. Google Empirical Morrowind for a list of mods that improve the game without changing the overall tone.
Morrowind, more than any other game, actually benefits from it's lack of voiceovers, since that made quest mods SO much easier to create. One of the best is The Underground, though that's not really for purists, since one of the big additions is an underground vampire nightclub, lol.
ALSO WELCOME TO MORROWIND. Get ready for the time of your life! It was my first RPG, and I fell in love so quickly. I must have logged at least ~700 hours in that game and its expansions. My favorite of the two expansions is Bloodmoon, but if you've played Skyrim you might not be quite as in love with it as I was at the time, since the tone/feel is somewhat similar.
