oh god, this. i'm generally pretty introverted but have long since gotten over that stupid attitude of "well *I*!!! don't need to get drunk or fuck around to have fun and those who do are dumb and suck and just can't find better ways to entertain themselves!" but many of my friends online haven't.

so basically... i never mention it. i'd rather just not be online for a day or two because "eh, long story", than tell 'em i was out and that i was drinking (and that i loved it!) and be judged by them.
