I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

I like them individually, but I always found their sketch shows too much on the miss side. Their Christmas Day radio show was actually really quite dull.

That sai, I was led to understand that they weren't that close anymore, I'd like to think you're right OP.

I feel much the same as this. I loved the Vicar of Dibley and Ab Fab (and probably other things I've forgotten) but what I've seen of their sketchs I've not got on with.

Different strokes and all that.

I thought their Christmas radio shows were utterly adorable, and sounded like two friends in each others' mental pockets taking the mick and giving no fucks if anybody else even knew what they were on about.

Nooo! Don't break my heart, anon! Where heard you this?

They worked together for like 25 years, so even if they aren't close now, they still must get along well.

Saunder's apex was AbFab for sure, but they were both fantastical in The Comic Strip series.

I think they're funny. And all comics have skits and routines and bits that aren't golden, or even that great. Don't overthink it, just enjoy it if that's what you like.

I really love the phrase "Cocking beautiful"

AbFab was a thing of beauty. I haven't seen anything else they've done together.

I have to admit I prefer Dawn French with Catherine Tate in Wild West. But I have no taste.

And "cocking" is the best adverb ever.

I loved them in my teens, didn't see any of their sketches for years and then found them not as funny as I'd remembered when I did see them again. But yes, exactly, OP: I just love them and so much other work they've done.
