I know a guy who broke up with his girlfriend recently and keeps bringing everything back to him being OMG BETRAYED (she broke it off because she couldn't handle doing it long distance) (also he's kind of a clingy ass). It's bad enough that nobody really wants to talk to him.

More personally, I had a friend who I used to talk about my silly dragon stories with. Which was great until he decide he definitely really was one of my shapeshifters and started spending every second moment of the day blabbing on about how he had ~bloodlust~ (not a thing my dragons had) and trying to imply that I was in fact the dragon princess and urrghh it was so dumb. It got so bad that he would break into my conversations with other people to try and embarrass me into talking to him (so that they wouldn't learn our ~secret~).

I think he's an otherkin now. Haven't seen him in five years.
