Re: Children, their Moron Parents and Your Collectibles

I understand this feeling completely. I have models worth Lots and Lots of Money, and Action Figures I spent Lots of Money on, and Action Figures I spent Lots of Money On Importing From Foreign Countries.

They aren't kids' dolls in my house, despite the fact that some of my models were my toys as a child - I played very gently with my toys, and rarely broke them (though I did manage to lose accessories). But I know that my grandnieces would think that 'dolly' needed to have his clothes torn off and possibly his (exchangeable) hands lost or swallowed or.

I remember when some of my friends brought their toddler son to my house for a very short visit, and they held onto him the entire time, as they were collectors, themselves. It was the only time I relaxed when a child was in my household.
