So I had an internship with Planned Parenthood from August to November, essentially office busy work leading up to the election. It was cool and good to be involved, but not much to write home about. I received $300 at the end as a thank-you stipend. It's good it ended when it did, because my cashiering job at a big box retailer really kicked up for the holidays.

Well, just as my cashiering hours are being scaled back, I got contact from another person at PP, asking if I would be able to take on another internship. I can work a small number of hours unpaid, or commit to a larger consistent clinic receptionist job and get $500/month, which would be super awesome.

I am not interested in volunteering there for the money, I have lots of feelings about lady parts and the politics thereof, but it does weigh into how much time I can commit, and how much it would limit my availability for my cashiering job. I have to crunch the numbers and see how much I can take on.

But it does fill me with the warm and fuzzies to know that they liked my work enough to offer me a paid position. No real reason for this post, just wanted to tell someone :)
