I've just encountered the phrase "she touched the tip of his maleness" in a fic and I am so done.

What WTF kind of wordings have you stumbled upon lately?

He didn't like how fragile a person was when injured because that made him think about life's fugacity and how easily as a snap of two fingers one's life could disappear.

But I kinda love really truly shitty fic, so it actually made me keep going.

It's not technically wrong, but, like the rest of the fic, it suffers from hysterically inappropriate thesaurus use.

It refers to the tendency of plant parts to wither or the tendency of gas to escape or expand (add your own fart joke here) in addition to meaning transience.
