When you're reading porn as a teen, you're an underage person reading porn that could have been written by an adult.

The hypocrisy is in saying, "it was okay for me to read this sort of thing when I was a teen, but it's not okay for current teens to read my writing because it makes me uncomfortable."

No, I don't really care if some kid is reading porn fic. I'm just not going to give it to them.

But you aren't? They're searching it by themselves, just like everyone else.

In my case, I met some people irl and everyone was exchanging tumblrs. I felt like giving my blog with porn on it to someone who I knew was underage was a bit too much like giving them porn. Hence making a sideblog.

Anon below put it best. It's not about 'caring' because, well, hypocrisy and all that. It's more like saying 'DON'T tell me so I can say I honestly had no idea in case we're found out'. In some countries, writing adult fic that is read by a minor can get you in serious legal problems even if you never intended it for minors.

Personally I think that if you're underage and you want to read/see porn, more power to you. But learn to lie about your age so you don't get in trouble and don't get others in trouble either.
