Yeah, I know. Probably everywhere.

But finding a minor and actually giving them porn is exactly the same than said minor reading smut you posted online despite them having seen a warning. Exactly the same, of course.

no, it is not the same. But you never know who might be wanting to make an example out of something, or someone who wants to push the letter of the law. Even if it never comes to a persecution, that is still a lot of time and money people are risking.

I've heard of places actually getting shut down because of a minor's parent flipping their shit. Usually forums and roleplaying games.

I mean, it seems pretty ridiculous, and I can't verify the stuff I heard was true... but I also don't want to be the one to find out. It just seems like the decent thing to do is to not broadcast you're doing something that could potentially get other people who are completely blameless in a lot of trouble. But I guess some people get a thrill out of it.
