Brothers & Sisters has a canon gay character who ends up in a stable relationship; in fact his is the most stable of all the siblings for most of the run of the show. (Mid/late season 2 on.) No one gets fridged. It doesn't even get that old because they're really sweet together.

That is literally the only show I've seen I can think of with that, though.
