It would be nice to be given some sort of context but...

Rating? Quite frankly, I use neither FF's or the AO3 but the MPAA's rating system - it's more universally understood at a glance. (And I never understood why FF dropped using it.)

no seriously, I remember when the change went through: apparently the film association of whatever wasn't happy with other people using their system

The MPAA system is awful and the way they implement it is worse. I don't get why fandom would want to emulate it.

What do you expect from a bunch of extreme right wing religious zealots who lobbied the government into letting them decide how to classify things because it was the only way they could keep their children safe from all the evil in the movies?
